Today I willout that low beam bulbs on my 2007 Chevy Silverado. The bulbs we are going to use today are these h11 LED bulbs.
Driving Side Headlight Bulb Replacement
Get to the driver side headlight bulb, it's pretty easy, just stick your hand in, give it a quarter, turn to the left, it should just pop out.
You'll have two tabs, each one on each side, we can just gently pull them back, then we are able to disconnect the original factory halogen bulb.
Before putting the led bulb back in the driver's side, we should give it a test, verify if it work normally.
I'm probably going in angle put the bulb in and then connect the power to it. I had to rotate it several times to actually get it in there, but I was able to get in there. And then give it a right-hand quarter turn and secure it into place.
Passenger Side Headlight Bulb Replacement
Reconnect the electrical so you grab the extension from the led you just snap it back in.
Take the top of the air box apart, pull the bottom out and then go in from behind it. You can also disconnect the electrical, take the clamp off, take the whole airbox out. You can leave it all connected and take the whole air box out or move it backwards. Take the top off four screws on each corner.
Once take the top off, take a field trip, and the bottom should pop up. You reach in there give it a quarter turn to the inside. Make sure the gasket comes out with the old lights and after that disconnect your liquor on this side. They just had a pushdown button and take your old light out. Before installing the LED bulb on the passenger side, take the airbox out.
You should be able to just slide it in with the driver's side. When I install it, I have to pop the fixture out really quick and slide it in. I can push it forward, put it in the sideways or at an angle line. And then give it a quarter turn to the outside. Put the two bolts back input the airbox back together and this side should be good to go.
